At first glance, Gemini man and Taurus woman are complete opposites. Taurus woman is down-to-earth and as stubborn as a rock. She doesn’t even blink as mercurial Gemini flashes past her with his quick-witted repartee.

You could have written the song ‘Don’t fence me in’ for Gemini. He is the eternal traveler. This guy has ants in his shoes. If he’s not packing a case or backpack he’s planning his next trip.
I honestly think roller-skates were invented for Geminis. They just want to whizz about quickly so that they can get to the next place. These guys are intelligent, quick-witted, charming, interesting, and sharp. They think fast on their feet and love adventure.
Geminis are free spirits, born to roam the globe until they’ve covered every inch of the planet.
They are also impatient, easily bored, fickle, unpredictable, and unreliable.
Now how does this impact Taurus?
The female Taurus is the epitome of security. We are talking about the ultimate homebody here. Taurus loves nothing better than relaxing in the warmth and love of a family. Think of Taurus as a strong family protector.
Nothing gets past this sign when it comes to making a house a home for her man. Taurus woman is the ultimate earth mother. Sure, she’d love to go off exploring the planet but the baby needs feeding and the teenager needs help with his homework.
Now, don’t get me wrong, Taurus woman is no Stepford wife. Nor is she stuck in the 50s. It’s just that I am comparing Taurus to Gemini and they are two very different people. Taurus loves to explore the senses. She is a very physical beast.
Her idea of experimentation is to cook from a different cuisine, not rush off to buy plane tickets to that country. She loves luxury and comfort, not backpacking in some hostel off the beaten track.
Taurus are calm, quiet, and stable people. They are practical types who like to plan ahead. You won’t find any Taurus woman that doesn’t have life insurance on her husband. It’s not that she wants to collect it, she’s merely safeguarding her future.
On the other hand, Gemini will fly off to dangerous parts of the world with no medical insurance and without getting his jabs.
So if they are so different will the Gemini man Taurus woman relationship survive?

In any relationship, Gemini men will always want change whereas the female Taurus will crave security. Neither is wrong but perhaps they are just wrong for one another.

So why doesn’t she tell him? You might have wondered why this couple don’t talk to each other. But you have to realize that the Bull is no match for the Twins fast-paced dialogue. Mercury gives Gemini the upper hand when it comes to communication.
No one can match the Twins, for a start, they have two faces to do all the talking. The Bull, on the other hand, wants to contemplate every single word spoken. They need time to properly digest and figure out the best course of action.
The problem is that by the time they’ve come to a conclusion Gemini has vanished. And don’t forget, your typical female Taurus is not much of a talker. She’s more into physical pleasures. Anyone can talk. She doesn’t place much importance on it. It’s just one of those things.
Which is probably why she wasn’t too impressed by Gemini at the start. Maybe the earth mother in her sensed neediness in Gemini. Perhaps he didn’t take care of himself. Geminis often rush about so that they forget to eat or sleep properly.
Taurus women are natural carers. They are grounded and down-to-earth. So much so that you often find them in occupations that require physical contact with others. Geminis are the opposite. They are an air sign ruled by Mercury, the messenger of the Gods. Speaking and communication are the things they’re good at.
